ReUse development center drives and own the re-use of parts, tool 

by providing local repair service and reduce costs and eliminate wastes

, collectively contributing to ASML’s circular economy & sustainability 

goals. Our job is to carve out a new path for reuse that no one has 

been done so far. We’re working with D&E, CS and Sourcing team

engineer within ReUse development center for developing part 

qualification tester and repair methods. Are you in for developing

Job Mission 

As a Development Engineer within ReUse development center, you 

will be working with several outsourcing parties, R&D team, CS 

engineer and repair engineer. You’re responsible for development of 

part qualification tester as designer or architect. In addition to that, 

you’re responsible for all technical alignment with R&D to develop 

the part repair methodology / tooling and support rollout of new local 

repair activities across the world. You’re going lead ASML reuse 

journey with quality and cost-reduction mindset based on ASML new 

culture Challenge, Collaboration and Care.


Job Description 

- Develop part repair methodology / tooling / process

- Develop part qualification tester / qualification process in 

  cooperation with R&D and outsourcing party

- Create repair work instruction and operation manual for tester

- Align / collaborate with R&D on all the technical things

- Find / manage the outsourcing of development activities

- Improve the quality of part repair closely working with repair engineer

- Improve the repair cost margin by recycling the harvesting 

  components and using localized components 

- Resolve production issues escalated through IRM process in 

  cooperation with repair engineers and CS engineers.

- Support rollout of new local repair activities across the world such 

  as Taiwan, China, USA and others


Education 

Bachelor or Master degree in Physics , Optical, laser, Electronics, etc.

 

Experience 

* At least 5 years of development in Laser engineer.

* At least 5 years of development project experience in digital & 

  analog circuit design as dev engineer.

* Experience in circuit design such as CPU/MICOM.

* Experience with microcontroller programming, user interface design 

  and development preferred.

* Experience in analog circuit design for various sensor (ADC, DAC and 

  others) and drive unit circuit such as motor.

* Experience in using circuit design tools (such as CAD/Cadence) and PCB artwork.

* Experience using various measuring instruments such as 

  Oscilloscope/DVM/DC Loader/Power Meter.

 

Personal skills 

* Familiarity with basic principles of lasers and laser system design.

* Affinity with physical optics propagation and basic Optomechanics, 

  Optomechatronics.

* Develops and executes troubleshooting for the laser system

* Preferred Conditions: Experienced candidates with the following knowledge

- Laser diode.

- Diode pumped Fiber laser.

- Diode pumped Solid state laser.

- Gas laser : CO2 laser, He-Ne laser(Zeeman split), excimer laser.

- Laser induced plasma generation.

- Support analysis of system performance using existing data analysis 

  tools(Matlab, Code V, zemax)


This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in 

the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, 

et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access 

such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business 

demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are 

immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
