test engineer

Tasks

Your tasks are:

· Testing of the tuner feature in the in-car infotainment system

  - Testing on system level (isolated feature testing, as well as regular testing of fully integrated official release builds)

  - Debugging support: flashing of device units with development builds and reproduction testing

  - Coordination of external test engineers' testing activities

  - Conducting test drives

· Defect management

  - Defect documentation with proper issue logs and raw data

  - Review and report of external test engineers' defects

  - Close alignment with the development team on the bug fixing process

Qualifications

Education:

- Master’s / Bachelor’s / Associate’s degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics / Mathematics, or a related field of study

Professional Skills:

- experience in testing, preferably in the automotive area

- technical understanding of hardware (electronics) and software

- familiarity with defect management tools (e.g. JIRA, CodeBeamer, CAN Diagnostic Tool)

Personal Skills:

- proficiency in Business English, fluent in writing and speaking

- great communicator with self-initiative and proactive attitude

- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Others:

- Willingness to join test drives on a regular basis (driver license manadatory, reasonable driving skills)
